The Third Sector recently released excerpts from a well-known report that uncovered instances of “bullying and harassment” based on race, gender, sexual orientation, and disability occurring without consequence throughout the National Council for Voluntary Organisations.

In addition to expressing their dismay and anger towards the NCVO, numerous Twitter users from the charity community started sharing their personal experiences of racism, ableism, homophobia, sexism, and bullying within the sector.

“The use of NDAs in covering up discrimination, harassment and abuse cases needs to come to an end – and at the very least, the people who have signed NDAs simply so they can access some semblance of justice in that situation should be able to report what happened safely and without fear of retallion.”
